Lionsgate has released the dates of when ‘LOL (2011)‘ will be released in theaters around the world.
The french remake, picked up by ‘Lionsgate‘ and distributed through ‘Double Features Film‘, starring former-Disney star, Miley Cyrus,who plays ‘Lola’ in the film, “her friends navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents”..
Co-starring in the film are Ashley Greene (plays “Friend”), Demi Moore (role: “Mother”), Thomas Jane & Douglas Booth (“love interest”).
Despite the fact that production has ended a long time ago, the movie’s dates was pushed around like crazy as the producers/editor’s ‘announced‘ that they had to remove a few scenes from the movie of Miley ‘smoking’ claiming it could lead to unwanted controversey.. With all that being said, this could hold the title as the most anticipated movie of the year.
The film, will be titled/marketed in Italy as ‘LOL – Solo quando rido‘ while around the world as ‘LOL – Laughing Out Loud’.. trailers or previews for the movie has not been released yet from the distributor.
The release dates, include several countries but not the specific U.S. premiere date for an unknown reason..

Lithuania – 9 March 2012
Hungary – 29 March 2012
Despite rumors, U.S. has been set for an early “October” release..
