Presenting To Write Love On Her Arms at the American Giving Awards

On December 9th, Miley Cyrus presented an award to To Write Love on Her Arms at the NBC’s American Giving Awards. TWLOHA was granted $1,000,000 for their help to others.
To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit organization devoted to giving hope and getting help for people who have difficulties with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. In 2006, Jamie Tworkowski helped a girl who had an addiction, depression,self-injury, and attempted suicide. Unable to get the girl into a treatment center, friends offered moral support. “We became her hospital and the possibility of healing fills our living rooms with life.” Jamie Tworkowski. TWLOHA is an interfaith, American organization that helps people learn of treatment centers, websites, books, and support groups. It is based in Melbourne, Florida.
This TWLOHA sounds like a good group for helping people who have depression, addiction, self-injury and attempted suicide. This year, TWLOHA began a new campaign titles “Fears vs Dreams.”
