Miley's real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus. Miley spent her childhood smiling and still has her signature smile today so her family started to call her smiley. Later they shortend it to Miley. In 2008 Miley officially changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus. Miley took her middle name Ray after her dads middle name. Today her grandma Ruthie is the only one who calls her Destiny.
